Celebrate Craft in Togo
Togo is a country of quiet strength—where wide skies meet winding dirt roads, and the rhythms of daily life carry the echoes of deep tradition. Nestled between Ghana and Benin, Togo is home to rich cultural heritage and diverse ethnic groups whose customs are preserved through craft. In small villages, women gather to weave baskets from native grasses, coiling each one with careful hands and practiced rhythm. These are more than objects—they're stories of heritage, resourcefulness, and pride, carried forward in every thread.

When We Arrived
Since 2007, we’ve worked side-by-side with communities in Togo—drawn by the depth of local weaving traditions and the obstacles women faced in accessing fair income. We met artisans with immense talent but limited opportunity to share it beyond their borders. By investing in long-term relationships and paying 2.5x Prosperity Wages, we’ve helped artisans turn skill into stability. Each basket is a reflection of that journey and full of meaning.
