How your donation works

1. You donate to underwrite product purchases, putting Prosperity Wages directly into artisans’ hands.
2. We pay artisans at collection (about 2.5× Fair Trade) before the products are sold at retail in the U.S.
3. That stable income becomes seed capital—enabling an artisan to launch three small businesses.
4. Ten by Three sells through established U.S. retail channels and tenbythree.org; earned revenue helps sustain and scale the model.
5. Your donation is not repaid to you. It underwrites purchases so the artisan is protected—and Ten by Three carries the sell-through risk.

PO note: In most cases, purchases are backed by purchase orders and retail commitments before collection. When we reorder without a PO, it’s based on sold-out demand and proven sell-through.
