Women gather native grasses and palm leaves, weaving with practiced hands into patterns informed by landscape, season, and story. Each basket is simple in form but rich in meaning, shaped by generations of resilience and artistry.
When We Arrived
Since 2007, we’ve worked side-by-side with communities in India—drawn by the detail and grace of local weaving traditions and the limited access artisans had to sustainable markets. We met women whose work deserved recognition, consistency, and fair pay. Through long-term partnerships and 2.5x Prosperity Wages, we’ve helped create space for that potential to grow. Each basket tells that story—of beauty born from tradition, and strengthened by opportunity.
Making a Basket
