Art & Africa
One night of rare handwoven work. Free to attend.
You won't see these anywhere else.
One evening of rare handwoven work — a silent auction, an artisan marketplace, an open bar, and upscale appetizers at the McCaughen & Burr Art Gallery. No ticket cost. Every bid and donation helps end poverty through entrepreneurship.
Three feet tall. Two feet across.
Coiled entirely by hand, waist-high, and one of only three in existence. It is the kind of piece you build a room around — and it will be on the floor at McCaughen & Burr on October 15.
A life-size woven giraffe
Mounted like a sculpture, woven strand by strand. Alongside it: woven light fixtures, sculptural vessels, jewelry, and rare pieces gathered from around the world — most of them impossible to find twice.
The evening
- Silent auction — rare, curated pieces from around the world
- Artisan marketplace — handcrafted goods made by Ten by Three artisans
- Open bar and upscale appetizers
- Free to attend — bid, shop, give, and bring a guest
Ten by Three works with artisans across Africa, Asia and Latin America, turning craft into businesses that outlast any single sale. Every bid on October 15 goes to that work.
