Crafted from sustainably harvested elephant grass, a fully renewable resource grown in Ghana, the basket is dyed using primarily plant-based dyes like sorghum. Twisting the grass enhances the basket's strength. The handles, made of straw and wrapped with goat leather, add durability and comfort. Each basket takes about two and a half days to weave. Our artisans choose the patterns and colors.
