I love this “Blessing Basket”, made by Cecilia Abusanga in Ghana. I have had it at least 2 years if not more. It’s beautiful, well constructed and will last a lifetime. I have the larger one and it can be used for many things but I personally use it to hold firewood next to my fireplace. It’s very sturdy and stable with the wood in it and the basket remains as beautiful as when I first got it. Am buying more things online today – I can’t decide if I want more items in earth tones with intricate weaving designs or the bright colors. Whichever, I am hoping to see intricate design patterns on items Ive just purchased. I will review the items ordered today once I get them.

I just purchased a large wing shopper basket by Ghanian artist Atampogbire Ayelasuura from our local Whole Foods Market. It was a splurge but I am very happy to be able to read her story. Her work is beautiful and I feel honored to be able to support her and her family in a small way from afar. This is me second basket from Ten by Three and I know it won’t be the last. Thank you for bringing them to the States for us to buy and enjoy for a very long time.
