Journey Into Vibrant Kenya
Kenya is a country of sweeping savannas, abundant wildlife, rich red earth, and skies that seem to stretch forever. Known for the Great Rift Valley and the vast Maasai Mara, it is home to elephants, lions, flamingos, and countless other iconic species. But the soul of Kenya lies in its people. In rural villages, women carry forward the timeless tradition of basket weaving, using natural grasses to create pieces that are both deeply functional and quietly beautiful. Each basket reflects a connection to land, community, and craft—woven with care, patience, and pride.
When We Arrived
Since 2007, we've worked side-by-side with communities in Kenya—drawn by the incredible artistry of local weavers and the challenges they faced in earning fair, reliable income. We met women with extraordinary skill but limited access to markets with high demand. Through long-term partnerships, and by paying 2.5x Prosperity Wages, we’ve helped transform tradition into lasting opportunity. Every basket you bring home is a piece of that story, rooted in dignity, craftsmanship, and hope.
